What is 'CLEAN COMMITTED'?

In Cleveland, our word is our bond. And Destination Cleveland's CLEAN COMMITTED program asks business owners for their word to help ensure a safe and responsible reopening of Cleveland's hospitality, entertainment and tourism industries.

The program requests a voluntary commitment to a standard set of cleanliness practices to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. The practices were developed in partnership with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, Cleveland Clinic, The MetroHealth System and University Hospitals.

Business owners that make the CLEAN COMMITMENT will receive materials to post that indicate their commitment and illustrate the clean practices. Keep an eye out for the CLEAN COMMITTED seal when you're eating out, shopping, visiting a local attraction, or enjoying a night away from home at a local hotel.

Curious how you can help Cleveland be CLEAN COMMITTED? Ask the restaurants, breweries and retail shops you patronize if they've signed up. And, consider following some simple guidelines recommended by Cleveland's health care experts to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
