"A person who plants trees knows that he will never sit in its shade! It is for the next generations to come." (Wordsworth).

Manage urban forest for the city, update the tree inventory, evaluate hazard tree remediation, perform inspections, coordinate fall and spring planting programs, tag all trees at nurseries, supervise tree crews and more. He also advises the Service Director as to urban forestry matters.
Tom has been an Adjunct Professor of Landscape Horticulture for the past 25 years at Cuyahoga Community College.
