Media Release:
Search & Arrest for Felonious Assault / Domestic Violence
A 25-year-old male was arrested this morning following a three hour search after he pointed a gun at family members, threatened to kill them, then fled his mother’s Farnhurst home. The suspect was apprehended at 4:00 a.m. near Farnhurst and Dorsh. A handgun was recovered.
Numerous officers from neighboring jurisdictions assisted Lyndhurst patrol officers.
The suspect faces several potential felony charges including Felonious Assault, Domestic Violence, and possessing a firearm illegally due to a previous felony conviction.
