Friends of Euclid Creek General Meeting and Hike at Acacia Reservation August 2nd 2016
Original Release: 7/29/2016
Let's continue the 15th anniversary celebration of Friends of Euclid Creek. Join us for the third hike in our series of Fifteen Miles with Friends. We will hike two and a half miles in the Acacia Reservation on Cedar Road across from Beachwood Place. After completing this hike you will have reached the halfway point in your 15 miles!
When: August 2nd 2016 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
Where: Acacia Reservation, Cleveland Metroparks, entrance on Cedar Road, directly across from Beachwood Place Mall.
Who: The hike will be led by Barb Holtz, naturalist and past president of FOEC.
Hike Difficulty: Flat to moderately rolling portions, moderate pace. We may walk through grassy areas, but mostly we'll stick to the paved path.
Parking: The parking lot is located at the front of the Reservation. The hike will begin at the sidewalk just off the front parking lot.
This is the perfect opportunity to get out and explore the Euclid Creek Watershed and see how the old golf course is slowly transforming into a natural space once again.
