I would like to thank the residents who represent Ward 2 for re-electing me to my council seat for another four-year term. It is an honor and privilege to be able to give back to the community that I love!
I have lived in Lyndhurst for over 40 years and actually live on the same street I grew up on with my daughter. My family has been part of our community for more than 60 years starting with my grandparents Joseph and Mary Compola. My grandfather Joe Compola started Tasty Pizza, a local business on Mayfield Road, in 1958. Tasty's is now a second-generation family-owned business operated by my stepfather and mother Joe and Jackie Woytovich. Politics and government have always been in our family! In fact, my grandfather served on Lyndhurst City Council for 6 years and he was the person that inspired me to get involved in our community.
I am a graduate of John Carroll University with a BA in Communications.
During my time on Council, it has been apparent that Lyndhurst residents desire high quality, timely, delivered city services and low taxation. My business knowledge and experience are an added attribute to a City Council that works to deliver these goals. This is a cohesive group that collaborates well with one another and tries to do what is in the best interest of all our residents.
Thank you again for this opportunity and I look forward to serving you!

Serving the residents of Lyndhurst for the past 16 years has been a pleasure and an honor. As I enter my 5th term as Ward 3 Councilman, I look forward to continuing to serve the residents with dedication and a commitment to keep our community a great place to live and raise a family. While we as a council will always keep the needs of our residents a priority, we must also look to the future and plan accordingly. This planning comes with making tough decisions, and I appreciate the support I have received over the past 4 terms in making those hard decisions. I will work hard to protect the services we as residents have come to expect and enjoy, even in our ever changing world.
Please don't hesitate to contact me to share your thoughts, concerns and compliments over the next 4 years and together we can make Lyndhurst a great place to live, work, raise children and retire.

I am humbled to be elected to represent Ward 4 in Lyndhurst. I truly enjoy the challenge, and I do not take this charge lightly. I will continue to work tirelessly and honestly for you. During my time on City Council, I have had the opportunity to personally meet many residents while helping to solve their issues in real time or answer any questions regarding the City. I have met many great people while participating at our Home Day celebration, Shredding Days, Council Coffee, National Night Out, Block Parties, and a host of other community events. We all have one thing in common. We are all passionate about this City.
Our residents are smart people, and genuinely care about the Lyndhurst of today as well as the Lyndhurst of tomorrow. We are all vested. Along with continuing to fund and support our top rate city services, Lyndhurst faces many ongoing hurdles, including future budgetary issues, servicing our aging roads and sewers, keeping our housing stock first rate, and assuring positive business development. Together, we on council along with guidance from Mayor Ward and our resident's voices, we will make the proper decisions today that will benefit our future. I will never forget that I work for YOU. We are a "Community of Neighbors." I sincerely thank you for your support.
Please call or email me with any problems, issues, or concerns, or just to say hello. I would love to hear from you.

While our great city faces many ongoing challenges, my focus for this year is to provide leadership for unity between each member of council. Unity, in the sense that each council member will be united in putting the welfare of the residents first. Laying a foundation that facilitates trust, communication, consensus and compromise. When best interests of our residents will govern our decision making, we will be able to reach a solution and accomplish many great things. While we, on council, are known for the words we speak, we also love to listen.

My wife, Beth and I moved to Lyndhurst in October 2012 from Lexington, OH, choosing this "Community of Neighbors" as the place we wanted to live. We are happy that our 2 children and 3 grandchildren (currently) all live within the Cleveland area.
