Ambulance - 2018-05031

On Monday, July 2, at 7:12 p.m., the Lyndhurst Emergency Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call of a child at the bottom of the pool at the Georgetown of Lyndhurst Condominiums at 29003 Cedar Road.

Upon arrival of Lyndhurst Police and Fire units, the 7-year-old boy had been removed from the water, and CPR was being performed. At least one parent was at the pool when the incident occurred.

The child was transported to Hillcrest Hospital. His condition was reported as stable.

The Lyndhurst Police Department has begun an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
