Where: Lyndhurst Park. In the event of rain, Lyndhurst Community Center.
 
When: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. (6:30 PM - 7:15 PM, Rick Smith Jr., Magician, Illusionist, Entertainer!)
 
What: The City of Lyndhurst, Ohio is participating in National Night Out!
 
What is National Night Out?
 
National Night Out is a community event designed to bring police officers, residents, and other community members together under positive circumstances.
 
We join hundreds of residents participating in National Night Out on August 1st 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lyndhurst Park.
 
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August.
 
Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.
 
National Night Out in Lyndhurst will include free food and fun. Most importantly is the opportunity for children and adults to meet the members of our Lyndhurst Police, Fire, and Service Departments, those dedicated men and women who take on daily the awesome responsibility of protecting and serving our community.
  • Hot Dogs, Chips, Ice Cream & Refreshments.

  • Meet the Machines: An opportunity for kids and families to touch and explore a Police Cruiser, Fire Truck and Service Department Apparatus!

  • Giveaways for kids, face painting, and more!

  • Raffle Items: Get your free tickets at the welcome table when you sign our guest book.

  • Musical entertainment provided by Dennis Ford!

  • Rides on the Euclid Beach Boys Rocket Ship Car!
National Night Out is for Lyndhurst residents and community members.
 
After dark, let's all light up Lyndhurst in a show of community by turning on our porch and outdoor lights.
 
More About National Night Out: National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
