Lyndhurst Planning Commission To Convene Town Hall Regarding Conditional Use Permit For Former Bolton School on Rae Road
March 13th 2017
Original Release: 3/4/2017
All residents are advised that the Planning Commission of the City of Lyndhurst will be meeting to consider the request of Progressive Lyndhurst Real Estate for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a Skilled Nursing/ Assisted Living facility on the site of the former Bolton School on Rae Road.
The Planning Commission is a recommending body and, therefore, makes recommendation to the City Council which can conduct its own review and request additional information before making the final decision. Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday each month.
Planning Commission meetings, while open to the public, are convened for the purpose of allowing the Commission to review the proposed plans, ask questions of the applicant, ask questions of those representing the applicant, ask questions of City Department representatives and, in this case, arrive at conclusions for each of the Conditions applicable to the use requested. There is no provision for input from the general public, unless the Chairman of the Planning Commission determines that such input would be of assistance to the Commission in making its recommendation.
For this reason, a Town Hall Meeting will be convened for the public to look closely at the plans submitted and to ask questions of their Public Officials with regard to the plans as well as to provide input based upon what they heard at the Planning Commission meeting.
The dates and time for these meetings are as follows:
