Dear Neighbors:

It is with great pleasure that I announce to you the complete redesign of the City of Lyndhurst, Ohio website on this very 1st day of 2010.

The decision to redesign the city website was made back in mid 2009 and the site has been taking shape since that time. It is my hope that many of you will find that we have listened to your feedback, and have strived to create a clean, cohesive, and aesthetically pleasing website that properly represents our great city.

Two important things to note regarding the new city website:

1.) Nearly all ancillary sections of the website (departments, city calendar, programs, etc.) are still being converted into the new format and will remain unavailable for the first few weeks of January until we are able to properly convert each of these sections.

2.) The old city website is and shall remain available both during and after the transition is complete. In short, we have made the financially prudent decision to leave all archived content from 2004 to 2009 in the format of the old website. Hence, you will find a new link in our new main menu titled, "Previous Website". Clicking this link will provide you access to all of the resources found in the old city website dating from mid 2004 to December 31, 2009. Please be sure to utilize this valuable resource of information on nearly 5 years of city history both during and after the transition has been completed.

I would like to thank each of the many individuals that worked together to make this project a sucess, and I would like to wish all of you a Happy, Safe, Healthy, and Prosperous 2010!

Respectfully,

Joseph M. Cicero, Jr.
Mayor
City of Lyndhurst, Ohio
