We have had a great year so far. During our Spring Clean-Up Activity in May, we were able to visit every home on our list thanks to volunteers from Bethany Covenant Church.Kids and adults alike showed up with rakes in hand to work tirelessly until the job was done. Afterward, we all enjoyed pizza and plenty of sodas. It was a great opportunity to learn more about each other and to talk about how we can all become better neighbors.
We are joining the Lyndhurst Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) to work on how to make our community safer. This will include developing neighborhood watches, patio or block parties, educational opportunities, and more.
Don’t forget to visit our booth at Lyndhurst Home Days. This year we are featuring recycling and safety. A sculpture will be created out of recyclable articles. Anyone can join in, just bring something you can recycle and add it to our work of art.
