Lyndhurst Community Center

The Community Center is located in Lyndhurst Park behind the Municipal Center and is available for use by Lyndhurst residents, businesses having their principal base of operation here in Lyndhurst, and those non-profit organizations having memberships comprised of at least 50% Lyndhurst residents.
 
Six different rooms are available for use including one large banquet room; a commercial kitchen and five smaller rooms that can be combined to accommodate medium sized functions.
 
Alcoholic beverages may be served provided that the conditions established by Ordinance 2002-37 have been met.
 
Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
 
Due to the volume of weekend usage, weekend appointments are generally not available.
 
We are closed on all national holidays, Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
 
We are open during Lyndhurst Home Days, usually held the weekend following Labor Day, but unavailable for rental.
 
The Community Center is also home to the Lyndhurst Office of the Tri-City Consortium on Aging, (440) 473-5138, and the Hillcrest Meals on Wheels Program, (440) 449-3551, that in 2007 distributed 21,000 hot and cold meals to the surrounding communities.

From: The East
 
1.) Take 271 North or 271 South to the Mayfield Road West Exit.
 
2.) Continue West on Mayfield Road, crossing the Brainard Road intersection. The Municipal Center will be approximately ¼ mile further West on the right hand side of the street.
 
3.) Parkview Drive is the next right (Get Go gas station is on the corner) as you pass the Lyndhurst Municipal Parking Lot.
 
4.) Continue North on Parkview, through the stop sign.
 
5.) The Community Center is on your Right. (We share the parking lot with the pool.)
 
From: The West
 
1.) Take 480 East to 271 North to the Cedar / Brainard Exit.
 
2.) Make a Left at the light onto Brainard Road.
 
3.) Travel North on Brainard to Mayfield Road and Turn Left.
 
4.) After crossing the Brainard Road Intersection, the Lyndhurst Municipal Center will be approximately ¼ mile further West on the right hand side of the street.
 
5.) Parkview Drive is the next Right (Get Go gas station on the corner) as you pass the Lyndhurst Municipal Parking Lot.
 
6.) Continue North on Parkview, through the stop sign.
 
7.) The Community Center is on your Right. (We share the parking lot with the pool.)
 
From: Downtown Cleveland
 
1.) Take Route 2 East to 90 East to 271 South to the Matfield Road West Exit.
 
2.) Continue West on Mayfield Road, crossing the Brainard Road intersection. The Municipal Center will be approximately ¼ mile further West on the Right hand side of the street.
 
3.) Parkview Drive is the next Right (Get Go gas station on the corner) as you pass the Lyndhurst Municipal Parking Lot.
 
4.) Continue North on Parkview, through the stop sign.
 
5.) The Community Center is on your Right. (We share the parking lot with the pool.)
