The Lyndhurst Building Department is located next to the Service Department in a one-story masonry building across the parking lot from Lyndhurst City Hall. Lyndhurst Building Department: 5301 Mayfield Road Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124 P: (440) 473-5108 F: (440) 442-7189 (24-Hour) Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Closed Weekends Mission Statement: To provide the professional services necessary to insure that all buildings, structures and their accessory uses and equipment are safe for use and occupancy in accordance with all applicable local and state building codes. Personnel: Thomas P. Kunz kunzt@lyndhurst-oh.com Tom is the City Building Commissioner. He has 35 years of code enforcement experience. He is a State licensed Chief Building Official (CBO), Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector and Plumbing Inspector. When I am not in the office or am unavailable, I have appointed Larry Puskas as Acting Building Commissioner. In that capacity, Larry has the same powers as do I, and can act in my stead in all respects, including signing all documents required to be signed by the Building Commissioner. He is a State licensed Building Inspector and an Electrical Safety Inspector Trainee. Joe Mandato mandatoj@lyndhurst-oh.com Joe began work for the city on May 1, 2006, as our “Housing Inspector”. Joe has the education and experience to help us maintain the quality and value of our housing stock. Joe is currently working on obtaining a degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Sheila Manfredi manfredis@lyndhurst-oh.com Sheila is a combination Office Manager / Secretary and brings us over ten years of practical building department experience. She has proven to be a valuable employee. |
